The Process
Simple steps. Real results.
We designed Learnify to feel like gaining a brilliant older sibling for your child — not enrolling in another program.
Book Your Child's Free Intro Class
No commitment. No cost. Just a real conversation.
Every Learnify journey starts with a free session — not a sales pitch. Your child's prospective mentor will learn who they are, where they want to go, and what's standing in the way. You'll get a personalized action plan after just one session.
What this includes
- Meet a prospective mentor 1-on-1
- Discuss academic goals and target schools
- Get an honest assessment of where your child stands
- Receive a personalized action plan — for free
Share Your Child's Documents
We read everything. Every detail matters.
After the intro session, upload your child's resume, official or unofficial transcript, any essay prompts they're working on, and any previous drafts. This gives the mentor the full picture before sessions begin.
What this includes
- Resume (optional but helpful)
- Official or unofficial transcript
- Essay prompt(s) being considered
- Any drafts or past essays written
We Match the Right Mentor
We do the matching. You focus on your child.
The Learnify team handpicks the right college student mentor based on your child's goals, intended major, and personality fit. No marketplace browsing, no guessing — we make the call.
What this includes
- No profile-browsing required
- Matched by school interest + major alignment
- Mentors from Harvard, Columbia, Berkeley, UCLA, NYU, UT Austin
- Swap guarantee if the fit isn't right
Watch Your Child Grow
Consistent sessions. Visible progress. Every week.
Regular weekly or bi-weekly sessions keep your child accountable and moving forward. Their mentor brings structure; your child brings drive. Together they build a compelling application — from test scores to the final submit.
What this includes
- Flexible scheduling around school calendar
- Session recaps and action items after every call
- Ongoing essay and document review
- Access to Learnify's full resource library
Common questions.
How long does the program last?
It depends on where your child is in the process. Some families start junior year and work through submission. Others come for targeted SAT prep over 6–8 weeks. We adapt to your timeline.
What if my child doesn't click with the mentor?
Just tell us. We'll rematch immediately, no questions asked. The relationship only works when it's the right fit.
Do we need all the services, or can we pick one?
You can work with us on a single service — just SAT prep, just essay writing — or the whole package. The free intro class helps clarify what makes the most sense.
How involved do parents need to be?
As involved as you'd like. We send session recaps and progress updates after every session. Some parents like to stay closely informed; others prefer to give their student ownership. We adapt to your family.
